A Message from NACVSO President - Nov

Industry,

Greetings NACVSO Members and Partners,

As we approach the holiday season, I want to take a moment to reflect on some recent progress that has strengthened our association and enhanced support for our members. Thanks to the tireless efforts of our Treasurer and administrative team, we’ve been making significant headway on resolving issues related to payments, membership tracking, and financial operations. Their dedication to cleaning up records and streamlining systems means that we are entering the new year in a stronger position, with reliable processes that better support our members and partners.

I’m also excited to share that we have several new education initiatives in the works. The Education Committee is developing new opportunities to support professional growth and address evolving needs within our field. In the coming months, you can expect expanded resources and training options to help you better serve veterans and their families. This commitment to education will not only elevate our own skills but also strengthen NACVSO’s as the gold standard for Veteran Service Officer training nationwide.

It’s my pleasure to also announce that we have selected our new Operations Manager, Anthony Lewis. We are thrilled to bring him on board as we continue to improve internal systems and create an efficient foundation for long-term success. The addition of an Operations Manager marks a significant step forward for NACVSO as we align our operations to meet our expanding goals and initiatives.

I was honored to attend the annual Veterans Day Breakfast at the White House again this year. It was a pleasure to see all of those wonderful partners who have recognized our value in fulfilling our collective promise to veterans. I hope to see them all again soon as we continue in this sacred mission.

As we prepare for Thanksgiving, I want to express my gratitude to each of you for your dedication and hard work in serving our veterans. This season reminds us of the importance of community and the vital role we all play in supporting one another. I am grateful for your commitment to our mission.

Lastly, let me say thank you to all of our nation’s veterans—past, present and future—for your dedication to this country. Without you, none of this would be possible.

Warm regards,

Christopher Hinton
