A Message from the NACVSO National Service Director
Date postedAugust 12, 2024
Hello NACVSO Members!
We appreciate the hard work you do on the front lines each and every day for Veterans and eligible family members. I would like to take just a moment to remind each of you of important dates that impact your accreditations over the next several months. I have received a very high volume of emails, but the change as you can see below aligns all the responsibilities into one specific period versus rolling through the calendar year. Hopefully, this will eliminate the worry of missing any deadlines for the vast majority of our membership.
November 1 - January 31, 2025: Membership dues will be invoiced and posted to your Member Compass on our website. Please make sure you pay these on time to avoid lapses in your membership or accreditations.
November 1 - January 31, 2025: Annual Recertification Test will be open. The annual test is required for all members who hold NACVSO accreditation. The link will be on the National Service Director page, and the brief test is untimed and open book.
November 1 - January 31, 2025: If you are cross accredited with the DAV through NACVSO, you will want to complete the Annual DAV agreement. Not completing this, will result in your accreditation with the DAV being revoked.
November 1 - January 31, 2025: Lastly, your Continuing Education Units are due for submission. You will submit (1) ONE pdf document of the agenda(s) that met the 16 hours of acceptable training during the 2024 calendar year.
-
If you have more than one training to cover the hours, please combine the agendas into ONE PDF document
-
If you attended the National Conference in Denver, CO NO ACTION IS REQUIRED. Your CEUs have been recorded to your Member Compass on the website.
All four of these actions are done through our website by utilizing the links on the National Service Director page. We do not accept any emailed or faxed submissions, so please make sure you are logging into the website to complete these required action items.
Thank you to each of you for your efforts to continue to serve others and timeliness to complete these actions this fall.
Respectfully,
Mike
