A Message from NACVSO President - Dec
As we enter this holiday season, I want to extend my warmest greetings to all of you, your loved ones, and the veterans you serve. This time of year offers an opportunity to reflect on our blessings, cherish the company of friends and family, and remember the steadfast commitment we share in improving the lives of our nation’s heroes.
I’m pleased to report that Anthony, our new Operations Manager, has hit the ground running at our DC Office and is learning the intricacies of our organization at an impressive pace. His commitment to enhancing operational efficiency is already helping NACVSO advance its mission. If you haven’t already, we encourage you to read December’s Member Monthly Spotlight and learn a little bit about Anthony. We are fortunate to have his experience as we strengthen our administrative foundation to better serve our membership.
In addition, I am delighted to welcome James “Jim” Zenner, Director of the LA County Department of Military and Veterans Affairs, to the role of Policy Director. His insight, leadership experience, and policy acumen will ensure NACVSO remains a trusted voice at the highest levels for all veterans and their families.
While the holidays bring joy and celebration for many, they can also heighten feelings of loneliness for some. This season, let’s reaffirm our shared purpose: helping those less fortunate—especially the veterans who may be struggling. A kind word, a helping hand, or a supportive resource can truly save a life.
As we embrace the spirit of the season, may we also spend meaningful time with friends, family, and fellow advocates who share our passion for improving the lives of veterans. I wish you all a joyous holiday season and a prosperous new year, filled with hope, compassion, and renewed purpose. Thank you for all you do, and let’s step into the coming year with a new and steadfast resolve.
Warm regards,
Christopher Hinton President, NACVSO
