Rebecca Burns

In 2019, I began a new career that I could believe in as the Alger County VSO. In this time, I've worked tirelessly to expand awareness of the office and benefits to Alger County veterans. In 2022, I was named Michigan Veterans Affairs Service Provider of the Year. While a huge honor, it is also a victory for the UP and Alger veterans and families. I am passionate about education and believe it’s the gift no one can take from you. When I’m not working, you can find me outdoors fishing, hiking, camping, or snowshoeing.
