Professional Bio
Started working in govt as a Deputy Recorder in Kankakee, IL. The Superintendent (Director) was forced out and I thought it would be great to assist veterans and their families. At a younger age, I received financial assistance out of that office and knew what it meant to me.
In 2018, took a Director position in Traverse City, Michigan at an office where the previous Director was forced out. I was once again restructuring and growing an office. I enjoy helping others and being part of a team!
I served on the NACVSO board in multiple roles. I was the National Service Director for 6 years. I was an Executive Board member for 2 years and the Vice-President for 2 years. I did not run for President as I had recently divorced and needed to focus on my children.
